What happen if you go to your bank and you need some get cash for a emergency?
maybe they will be able to give you if the amount is low but how about if you just try to get 10,000 dlls. or 25,000 dlls in cash? maybe they will not be able to give you why for the crisis maybe the banks don't have a lot of money and you can not be able to get it lets think imagine you get maybe 5000 in cash but maybe they will give you the rest in a check or maybe you need to wait before they can give you what you need from your own money?

Now imagine if people go at the same time and ask $5000 dlls each maybe the bank will not have for all of the people. Why? CRISIS or Economic collapse

Noe the way you can protect yourself is the real question how people can have a real security if they need to leave the place for an emergency  the money you think is available is not there
